Berlin is situated in the middle of the great empty territory of northeast Germany and it’s full connected to the rest of Europe (and World, of course) by bus, train, highway and air. Once in Berlin, you’ll think that’s an incredible such good public transport.
Berlin’s integrated network of transports. Working 7/24
Berlin has an integrated network of U-Bahn (Untergrundbahn,
underground trains), bus (single and double deck), Straßenbahn (trams), S-Bahn (trains) and RE (regional trains). BVG and DB run the transportation’s services and they always works like a dream.
The stations are modern and clean (the most!), and you’ll quickly find comfortable with the complete Berlin’s transport system.
Most Bahn trains, buses and trams run every 5-15 minutes during the day. Buses and trams run every half hour at night; U-Bahn trains run every 15 minutes on weekend nights, and buses run their routes every half hour on weekday nights. The Berlin’s transport system run every day, every month, every year. Also on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, ever 7/7 and 24/24.
This is incredible useful because you can move over all the Berlin city with public transport every time!
