Only where Union is on, is Union in it. And that also applies to the way to the stadium. Since a tram with the branding of the FC Union and Berliner Pilsner – since 2000/01 partner of Köpenicker – now also runs on Berlin’s tram tracks.
FC Union and Berliner Pilsner united for a magic tram journey
On a solemn maiden voyage, the red-white-green tram was inaugurated on March 8, World Women’s Day. Twenty-five winners were the first to enter the track with an accompaniment of their choice. It started at the Alte Försterei station and had also on board: Felix Kroos, Steven Skrzybski, Kristian Pedersen and Marvin Friedrich!
At the end of the tour, the female Union fans were passed with a red rose, directly presented by the FC Union professionals. Also, drink requests and photo concerns were met according to unconfirmed sources.
From now on, the capital’s most beautiful tram will run alternately on lines 18, 21, 27, 60, 61, 62 and 63 for at least one year. Of course, it will be in action near the stadium for the home games of the FC Union team.
