During the last months of the year, Germany is an extra popular travel-destination because of its Christmas Markets. Drinks, food and fun in Berlin for Christmas
For Berliners, Christmas is a good time to make parties and to have any kind of fun. Berlin offers an incredible unique Christmas-atmosphere and heaps of lovely particular Christmas markets, many of them are located in the center of the city, but you can also find them in every corner of the city. An experience of smells, flavors and people that only Berlin is able to offer.
Christmas Market at Gendarmenmarkt, located between Französischer Dom and Deutscher Dom is the most interesting Christmas market of Berlin. The market offers typical food and drinks, but also a large range of handmade goods crafted by artisans and an incredible variety of entertainments.
From Friday to Sunday appeared to be the most crowded, with people obliged to a body to body walking, so it’s recommend to go on the other days like we did. Nightly stage entertainment is really exciting with a lot of sheltered bar areas with fun and music. You can find also plenty of vendors who sell the traditional “Glühwein mit Schuss”.
