EnthusiastiCon is a conference for the programming community. People will talk about the most exciting programming — the strange, the wonderful, and the clever solutions to unusual problems — on a day full of short presentations.
The hosts are hoping that the wonderful people will join the conference to share their enthusiasm or to listen to what makes fellow programmers beam with joy about crafting.
The best EnthusiastiCon is on March 31 & April 1 2018 in Berlin
EnthusiastiCon will be held on March 31 and April 1, 2018 in Berlin. Saturday will be a day full of talks. For Sunday people are discussing an open space for sharing and collaboration.
This conference is open to everyone! There are rooms for up to 100 people at the venue and attendance will be free, though they may charge a no-show fee.
The Who is Who story from the official EnthusiastiCon website
EnthusiastiCon happened once before in 2015, but the organizer Jens, realized that it was a little too much work for him alone. Enter Moritz, he liked !!con a lot when he was in NYC, and found out about the Berlin equivalent. Determined to revive it, he met with Jens, and told a few Recursers, of which Joseph and Veit reacted enthusiastised and joined the team.
The basic idea is that the speakers are talking for a maximum of ten minutes about a topic that excites them—or should I say “makes them enthusiastic”? We believe in rubber ducking, as it can be understood to be about programming and sharing in the broader sense.
