From 4th to 6th August, in Berlin city happens the 21th International Berlin Beer Festival. The beer party is taking place at its traditional area along Karl-Marx-Allee between Strausberger Platz and Frankfurter Tor.
As a Guinness World Record, the longest Beer Garden
The International Beer Festival celebrates the official national drink of Germany with a three day folk festival and parties related to the beer.
At the Longest Beer Garden of the World 344 breweries from 87 countries are presenting their 2,400 brands of uniquely represented beers. Visitors to the festival can enjoy culinary specialties and there are 19 stages where national and international artists are performing live-music.
The festival is divided into areas according to the geographical origins of the beers. There are several German states such as Bavaria, Saxony and Westphalia, but also exotic places like Vietnam, Thailand and Japan. Various stages along the street with many live bands performing traditional German music and modern music, a special atmosphere of a typical German folk festival with the particularities of the Berlin location.
