For the third consecutive year, Lollapalooza will be one of Berlin’s most interesting music festivals, two-day to live between a mix of music, food and art for young and old people.
Born in the USA, at its best in Berlin
A musical festival born in the United States in 1991 from the idea of Perry Farrel, the singer of Jane’s Addiction, immediately became a follow-up event that took place in several stages between the United States and Canada.
In 2011 the kermesse came out of the US borders and landed in Chile, Brazil and Argentina, and three years ago finally came to Europe. Of course, the hosting city is one of the most creative (probably the first!) of the old continent, Berlin! To which Paris will be added this year.
The Lollapalooza Festival is structured in several areas with multiple stages where different musical genres ranging from rock, indie, alternative to most commercial, EDM and techno are played and the show’s lineup changes at every stage.
After the former Tempelhof Airport and the Treptower Park for past editions, the Hoppegarten Racecourse (Rennbahn Hoppegarten) has been selected this year, with its 430 hectares of greenery it welcomes the people of all ages that will come to enjoy the soul and the energy of this festival.
A varied crowd that goes to the Lollapalooza Festival, from groups of young friends on vacation to the family with kids on the go, because this event is born with the intent of being a great party of music for everyone. All and everyone. Will you come?
