Paul Kalkbrenner’s concert at the Max-Schmeling-Halle, a multi-purpose arena in Berlin, is already sold-out. One of Berlin’s biggest indoor sports arenas that up to 12,000 people isn’t enough for the techno-instrumental Berlin artist Paul Kalkbrenner.
His unique take on downbeat and techno music
On the last album of Paul Kalkbrenner – ‘Parts Of Life’ – some critics wrote, he sets himself on it himself. A nice compliment, especially when you know that Kalkbrenner had on his eighth album exactly that.
“The 15, not chronologically ordered songs, which all consist only of the word “Part” and a chapter number, are as multifaceted, as one imagines the life of an internationally successful artist. And they invite to wild interpretations: What triggered the almost jazzy vibes that open with “Part Eleven” the album? Are you in the middle of the hangover with the dark bass of “Part Seven”, which the wild time around the success with “Berlin Calling” should have triggered? Questions that everyone has to answer for themselves because Kalkbrenner prefers to speak the music. For example, on his tour from February 2019.”
Unfortunately, the Paul Kalkbrenner concert, scheduled for Saturday 30 March 2019 at the Max-Schmeling-Halle, is already sold-out. Anyway, you can check the links below for a ‘touched of God’ ticket that returns on sale.
