Travel advice for the Christmas holidays in 2018
Take care when carrying electronic devices in checked baggage
Whether you are spending Christmas at home or on the Canary Islands, there is always a Christmas rush at the airport. Around 1.26 million passengers are expected to fly from and to Berlin’s airports during the Christmas holidays. To ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, here are a few tips for travelling during the Christmas season.
Passengers are advised to keep themselves up-to-date about their flight status by telephone or by looking online before departing and to use the online check-in facilities. Passengers are also requested to arrive at the airport at least two hours before departing and to pass through security as quickly as possible.
